In the beginning………..

……our involvement with alpacas was an
investment, leading to early retirement. After 
nearly ten years in the business, alpacas are 
now our passion. Thoughts of early  retirement 
have faded!

Five Star Alpacas, LLC is family owned and 
operated by Bill, Mary and their daughter, 
Charlene. We have both huacaya and suri 
alpacas. Our herd consists of quality Peruvian, 
mostly Accoyo breeding stock and offspring 
of alpacas that we hand-selected in Peru. Our 
females are courted by the most reputable 
herdsires in North America: AUGUSTO 
(huacaya) and BARON (suri).

In the alpaca industry “Accoyo” is the symbol 
of almost a century of the world’s finest 
Peruvian alpacas from the herd of the late 
Don Julio Barreda, Macusani, Peru.            

To promote a world-class breeding program,
our goal is to own alpacas and offer breeding 
services of 100% Accoyo genetics.
